"Lee" Thomas, 57, of Port Huron Twp., passed away on November 30, 2016 in McLaren Port Huron Hospital with his family by his side.He was born on December 10, 1958 in Port Huron.Lee married Denise Marie Cesefske on October 1, 1983 in Port Huron.He was owner and operator of Lee's Auto and Truck Repair for 36 years at 24th and Griswold Street. Lee loved spending time with his family, friends and anything to do with a motor and wheels. He loved going to car shows, NASCAR and was an all-around collector. Lee helped several people within the community in several different circumstances. He will be missed by many and loved by all; but never forgotten.Lee is survived by his wife, Denise M. Thomas of Port Huron Twp.; daughter and future son-in-law, Megan Thomas and Tyler Gutierrez of Fort Gratiot; mother, Mary Thomas of Port Huron; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff (Janna) Thomas of Port Huron; brother and sister-in-law, Alan (Carolyn) Thomas of Flushing; brother and sister-in-law, Jack (Teresa) Thomas of Wales Twp.; brother, Brian Thomas of Port Huron; sister and brother-in-law, Gayle (Paul) Driggers of Big Rapids; sister and brother-in-law, Mary (Mark) Wingate of Forestville; brother, Mark Thomas of Port Huron; three sisters-in-law, Sue Thomas, Barb Chappel and Judy LaVere and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Thomas and a brother, Rick Thomas.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave. @ 17th Street, Port Huron. Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate. Inurnment will be in Mt.
