Leonard Earl Greaser, 79 of Alamogordo, NM went home to be with Jesus on December 16, 2016. He was born on April 10, 1937 in Tucumcari, NM to Orvil and Dona Pearl Greaser.Leonard worked in the grocery store, he was a milkman, delivered for Hostess Foods and Pepsi and retired from Whites Sands Missle Range as a Safety Officer/Inspector. He was always active in his church serving in numerous capacities including church board, worship leader, playing his clarinet, Sunday School teacher and superintendent and worked for several years with the Royal Rangers. He enjoyed spending time daily praying and reading his Bible and studying Gods word. He enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends.Leonard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jerldine Greaser of the family home; three daughters, Gwen King (Jerald) of Los Alamos, NM, Belinda Lovvorn (Troy) of Owasso, OK and Arlene Garrison (Bart) of Ruidoso, NM; three grandchildren, Lanessa Amburgey (Shawn), Dustin King (Melanie) and Lance Garrison (Kaitlin); two great granddaughters, Traeh and Kaidance Amburgey; siblings, Clarice Sewell (John), Walter Greaser (Peggy), Corrine Knowles, Helen Nelson (Jim) and Lester Greaser (Joyce); and other family and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant brothers, and grandson Keith Garrison.Services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at The Worship Center with Pastor David Crispin officiating.The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Teen Challenge of New Mexico www.teenchallengeofnewmexico.com www.teenchallengeofnewmexico.com>
