Mr. Lee Archie was born February 22nd 1955 to Andre in Galle Archie in Chicago Illinois. He was the oldest of 7 children born into this Union. Both of his parents proceeded him in death.
Lee accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
Lee received his education at Morgan Park High School. He had many talents he could sing, tell jokes, fix things with his hands, and play several different musical instruments.
Lee met and later married Maria, the Love of his life on June 08, 1972. After 42 years of holy matrimony she fell asleep in death. To this union four children were born: Andre, Felicia, Mya, and Lee, Jr.
He retired at the age of 55 from Community Bakery after 30 years of service. He work very hard to provide for his family. He often said, "Love don't pay any bills." I beeause. His work ethic at the continued past his retirement.
We was affectionately known as a person who loved his family. He was hardworking, Generous, and very candid. He never met a stranger. He touched all those that he encountered. He had an enormous sense of humor. He was always concerned about others and he showed it in word and deed.
The, his brother preceded him in death.
Lee leaves to cherish his memory: two sons Andre and Lee Jr.; two daughters: Felicia (Lawrence), and Mya (Brandon); sisters: Emma, Clydie, Bernice, Judy, Helen, Betty Sheila, and Diane; brothers Melvin, Shelvy, and Donald; one aunt: Ruby; grandchildren: Alyssa, Meishelle, Ashiya, Cyrus, and London; two great grandchildren: Ariana and Khi, and a host of relatives, including to many special friends to name.
