Lawrence J. Lucero Jr., 30, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014.He was born on April 22, 1984 in Fort Lewis, Wash. to Anna M. Castillo.Lawrence was a kind, loving, friendly caring and thoughtful person and will be missed.He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.He was a 2002 graduate of West Las Vegas High School.He is survived by his mother, Anna M. Roybal and husband, Nash of Las Vegas, and Eric Knezevich; brothers, Daniel Lucero and Charles Knezevich of Las Vegas; sisters, Candace Lucero and Brooke Knezevich of Las Vegas; special niece, Peyton Lucero of Las Vegas; uncles and aunts, Clyde Baca and wife, Mary, Franklin Gallegos, Anthony Baca, Rose Castellano, Francine L. Baca, John Goke, Kris Goke, Carmen Barr, Vicky Castillo, Mother John Paul HPB, Stella Montoya and Joe Cordova; Godmother, Cindy Crespin Ortiz and husband Paul; Godfather, Kenny Maestas and wife, Tina; best friends, Eric Solano and wife, Anne and Roman Baca; numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Friday with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery with the following serving as honorary urn bearers: Eric Solano, Alvin Montoya, Lawrence F. Chavez, Felix Chavez and Lawrence P.
