Laurel Lenz, 75Laurel Auretta Lenz, 75, of Coralville, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Wind Mill Manor. Funeral services for Laurel will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Following committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Lone Tree American Legion. Visitation for Laurel will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund had been established at the funeral home in memory of Laurel. On June 29, 1963, Laurel was united in marriage to Ron Lenz. She enjoyed fishing, having sunday lunch with family and most of all spending time with the grandchildren Laurel will be dearly missed by her three sons, Jeff (Mary) Lenz of Iowa City, John (Patrizia) Lenz of Arlington, Washington and Chris Lenz of Iowa City; two grandchildren, Jimmy Lenz and Felicia Pieper; two siblings, Kenny (Mary) Kucera of Hills and Carolyn (Mike) McDole of Riverside; and many nieces and nephews.Laurel was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.
