Lynn Cook passed away unexpectedly at her home in Arlington, VA on December 10, 2016. Lynn is survived by her two daughters, Caroline Phillips and Charlotte Cook; her sisters, Betsy Driver (Loretta) of Flemington, NJ and Susan Buczak of Tampa, FL; and her twin brother, Steven Buczak of Venice, FL. She leaves behind aunts and uncles, loving friends. She also leaves Clover, her beloved golden retriever. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Christine Wojcik Buczak and Aloysius F. Buczak, most recently of Venice, FL.
Lynn was born on February 10, 1959 in Buffalo, NY and graduated in 1977 from Hamburg High School (NY). She graduated from State University of New York at Fredonia in 1981 and Pace University School of Law in 1984. She earned a LL.M. degree from Georgetown Law in 1993. She began her legal career in Washington, DC at the IRS as a Tax Law Specialist. Lynn was a Senior Legislative and Regulatory Advisor at Willis Towers Watson, where she has worked since 1989. Lynn loved her children, reading, cooking, biking and traveling with friends.
