KETTERING — Lois Ann Janes, age 79, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Walnut Creek Nursing Home, Kettering, Ohio. She was born on Oct. 24, 1937, in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Galen W. and Mary A. (Brooks) Oswalt.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Janes; and brother, Ron G. Oswalt.

There will be a service held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, 1499 N. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 648 Watervliet Ave, Dayton, Ohio.
