Kim Denise Bowers Kim Denise Bowers, 53, of Beaufort, SC passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family members. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm at Anderson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11 am at Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with entombment in Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Kim was born on October 25, 1962 in Beaufort, SC to Gordon Richard Bowers and Janice Mae Ramsey Bowers. Kim worked as a Paralegal for Harvey and Battey Law Firm. Since her first time at the beach at 5 1/2 weeks old, spending days at the beach was her one of her favorite pastimes, only second to spoiling her 4 grandchildren. As a lifelong resident of Beaufort, Kim never met a stranger and her laughter still echoes in the ears of those that were honored enough to cross paths. Surviving in addition to her parents, Gordon and Janice, is a daughter, Janice Lynn Kelley (Keith) of Beaufort; a son, Brian Ramsey Milburn (Erin) of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Gordon Clayton Bowers and Richard Carl Bowers both of Kalamazoo, MI; four grandchildren, Bryson, Kaleigh, Emily, and Blake; two nephews, Clayton and Kaileb; two nieces, Callie and Meaghan; as well as her beloved Shar-Pei, Daisey Belle. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
