Kevin J. Holmes was born August 27, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois to his parents, William (deceased) and Cathrine Holmes. He was the third child born Penny (deceased), Bernard, Albert and twins Tim and Tyrel.

Kevin began his education in Chicago, where he graduated high school and took up a career in the auto industry. 

Kevin married his longtime girlfriend, Renee, on June 27, 2002. Kevin loved to work on cars and fish. If he wasn’t doing that thing you could find him in the garage feeding his pet raccoon. 

On January 31st at 11:37 pm Kevin was called home at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. 

Kevin leaves his cherished memories with his wife Renee; mother, Cathrine; brothers (Bubba) Albert, Bernard, Tim and Tyrel; kids, Latrice, Nicole, Kevin Jr, Quentin, and Williams; as well as, a host of grandchildren friends and other family members.
