Sadick, Kenneth A. 93, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on August 26, 2017. He was born on May 8, 1924 to Lewis and Dorothy Siegel Sadick in Seattle, WA. Ken was a natural athelete, enjoying football and baseball in high school and golf, handball and racquetball as an adult. He enlisted in the
Army Air Corps in 1943, earning his wings at Luke Field in March 1944. Ken served in the 9th Air Force, 48th Fighter Group, 494th Fighter Squadron in Europe. He flew P-47 aircraft on 73 missions during
WWII, including The Battle of the Bulge. While in training at Luke Field, Ken was introduced to Norma Davidson, who became his bride in December 1945, after the war ended. They settled back in Phoenix in 1947. Ken joined his father-in-law in business at Dean S. Davidson Insurance Agency, working alongside Dean, Norma and brother-in-law, Bud Davidson (Sande) until his retirement. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gordon Sadick, sister Elaine Sadick Grad (Alec), wife Norma and daughter Judy Sadick. He is survived by his daughter Linda Furman (Bill), grandsons Gordon More and Brian Wolfe (Robyn) and granddaughter Sarah Wolfe. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Beth Is rael Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the familysuggests a contribution to Congregation Beth Israel's Dean S. Davidson Children's Library Fund. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.
