Musolff, Keith Keith Musolff passed away early on September 13 at the age of 68. He was born on March 18, 1949 in South Milwaukee. His family was drawn to lake Michigan and he quickly took to sailing as a young boy where he embarked on many an adventure. Never the most apt student, he stumbled up into college and landed in the Vista Program in Milwaukee and began working at various schools. It was a crash course in teaching, and that's where is spark for education was ignited. From then he was hooked. He fell in love with and married Connie (nee Forecki). They moved to West Allis and had three girls, Amy, Beth and Katie. Keith spent most of his teaching career in Germantown at Kennedy Middle School, where has a specialized in reading. His classroom was like no other. It was a world onto itself, fitted with couches rather than desks and filled to the brim with props from his 20+ years of directing the school's musicals. Students were encouraged to act, sing and deeply experience their way through the material that was taught. Keith conducted summer programs around the city like Camp Invention, he was a Destination Imagination coach, a tutor, a math coach and an inspiration to many who call themselves teachers now. It was his sense of humor and knack for story telling that made such an imprint on others. His talents reached far and wide. Keith will be dearly missed by his family; his wife, Connie; daughters, Amy (Richardson), Beth (Buettner) and Katie (Musolff); sister, Ginnie (Pinkos) and grandchildren. as well as his many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Janet and Arthur and is sister Mary (Kaminski). There will be a visitation on Sunday, Sept. 24, 6-8PM and a ceremony on Monday, Sept 25, 5PM at Calvary Presbyterian Church. 935 W. Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee. A celebration will be held Monday, Sept 25, 6-10PM at the South Shore Pavilion at 2900 South Shore Drive. The family asks that you simply bring yourself and a good story to share.
