Kathryn Ann PedersonCamarillo, CAKathryn Ann Pederson (Shott) passed peacefully in her home on Friday, July 21, 2017, after a long battle with Multiple Systems Atrophy.Kathy was born on July 25, 1944 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She graduated from South Union High School in 1962 and Western Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 1965. Although she was a registered nurse by profession she elected to dedicate her life to being a loving wife, mother, and grammy. She is survived by Steve Pederson, her husband of 50 years, three children; Kristin Counsil, Kirk Pederson, and Grant Pederson, and six grandchildren; Riley Counsil, Owen Counsil, Camryn Counsil, Ian Pederson, Ella Pederson and Gwen Pederson. Her contagious smile and happy-go-lucky attitude will be missed by all. A celebration of life service and lunch reception will be held on Saturday, August 12th at 11 am at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park located at 2052 Howard Rd, Camarillo, CA 93012 ( www.conejomountain.com). In lieu of flowers, donations made in Kathy's memory to the Mayo Clinic for "Multiple Systems Atrophy research" (other designation), would be greatly appreciated.
