Schnorr, Kathleen V.Kathleen V. Schnorr, (nee Voshardt), age 98, current resident of Manitowoc, died early Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.Kathleen was born on Sept. 18, 1915 in Chicago, to the late Mary F. (nee Schroeder) and Orme A. Voshardt. Kathleen grew up in Two Rivers where she attended St. Luke's Catholic Grade School, and graduated from Washington High School in 1933. After high school she worked at the Two Rivers Reporter Office for several years. On Nov. 25, 1939, she married Thomas W. Schnorr at St. Luke's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1976. Kathleen resided for 50 years at her cherished home on Washington Street in Two Rivers. She was an active member of the Ladies of the Round Table for many years; she served as registrar for the Two Rivers Girl Scouts; and belonged to several local bridge clubs. Kathleen loved growing flowers in her garden and sewing clothes for her family, and also loved helping neighbors with their sewing needs.She is survived by three children: Kay (Jim) Michel of Pewaukee, WI; Peggy (Michael) Wright of Philadelphia, PA; and John (Toni) Schnorr of Cedarburg, WI; four grandchildren: Jamie Michel, Benjamin Wright, Andrew Schnorr, and David Schnorr.A memorial Mass for Kathleen will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. The family will greet friends at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18th.In lieu of flowers, the Schnorr family asks that donations be made in Kathleen's name to St. Mary's Home in Manitowoc.Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St. Two Rivers is assisting the Schnorr family with funeral arrangements.Kathleen's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Mary's Home and the Heartland Hospice Caregivers for the compassionate care they provided.
