TENNYSON, Kathleen Q. Dr. died peacefully in her home on August 23, 2016 in Tucson, AZ at the age of 88. Kathleen is survived by Kaye Quillen, Keith and Jo Quillen, Jessica Von Radesky, and Ryan Quillen of Tucson, AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Florence Kornmann of Apache Junction, AZ, and her sister, Lois Rusley, of Storm Lake, IA. Kathleen was born on July 5, 1928 in Crookston, MN. She graduated from Emory University with a Ph.D in Comparative Literature and taught philosophy and organ literature at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. As a member of the American Guild of Organists, Dr. Tennyson amazed congregations for decades from her seat at the pipe organ, especially as a celebrated organist and choirmaster at All Saints Episcopal Church in Atlanta, GA. Finally, Kathleen enjoyed a late career as a top sales agent in California real estate. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2016 1:00 p.m. at Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 2331 E. Adams St. in Tucson, with a reception to follow.
