DeWane, Kathleen AnnKathleen Ann "Kathy" DeWane joined our mother, Elaine in Heaven on Sunday, July 23, 2017. She was born on September 30, 1949, in Green Bay to Gordon and Elaine (Landry) DeWane.Kathy graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1968 and worked at Holiday Inn Downtown, Green Bay.We enjoyed Kathy's terrific sense of humor and she was our family resource for family plans and information. She was not a mother, but was a loving second mother to all of our kids. Kathy collected small toys for all the kids and they really loved her for remembering their birthdays.She was a life-long member of St. Willebrord Parish.Kathy is survived by her father, Gordon DeWane; brothers and sisters, Michael (Stephanie) DeWane, Patrick (Pam) DeWane, Mary (Dale) Sorenson, James (Susan) DeWane, Teresa (Jeffrey) Delfosse, Ruth (Louis) Van Ess, Mark (Marla) DeWane, Thomas (Diane) DeWane, Gordon DeWane, Jr. (and special friend, Mary Lealiou), Jan DeWane, Robert (Nancy) DeWane, and Timothy (Jill) DeWane. Her nieces and nephews include Jennifer (Andrew) Palalay, Brandon DeWane, Paul (Nicole) Sorenson, Brian (Andrea) Sorenson, Kelly (Curt) Pieschek, David DeWane, Jeremy (Angela) Delfosse, Danielle Delfosse, Jeffrey Delfosse, Jr., Christine (William) Petersen, Brenda (Andrew) Greene, Carrie Ann (JP) Zvesper, Kevin (Michelle) DeWane, Casey (Kristin) DeWane, Sean (Carrie) DeWane, Nicole DeWane, Eric DeWane (and special friend, Mary Hass), Corey Miller (and special friend, Sarah Reed), Allison (Beau) Gagnon, Matthew DeWane, Nina DeWane, Brooke DeWane, Patrick (Hilary) DeWane, Katie DeWane, Andrew (Kayla) DeWane, Douglas DeWane, and Maria DeWane. She is further survived by many special great-nieces and great-nephews.Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine; sister, Christine; nephew, Joey DeWane; niece, Laura DeWane; grandparents, Thomas and Angeline DeWane and Ernest and Pearl Landry.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, followed by a Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Friends may also call at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams St., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 10. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 10 at the church. Inurnment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
