Karen Rinaldi, 52, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on January 7, 2019, peacefully with her family by her side.

Karen was the first born to parents, Tony DiMarino and Roberta DiMarino, in Cañon City Colorado on January 30, 1966. She graduated from Cañon City High School in 1984 and moved to Denver, Colorado shortly after.

While in Denver Karen pursued careers, lifelong relationships and gave birth to her only daughter. Karen had the blessing of living a life full of love and laughter in Colorado. In 2012 she decided she would relocate with Steve Rinaldi, whom she called her one true love. They stayed in Newburg Oregon for just about a year and then relocated again to Mesa, Arizona where they joined each other in marriage the year 2017.

Despite Karen’s success and love for work, family and friends were her passion and delight. She enjoyed the sun, traveling, attending or hosting dinner parties, her broncos, and kitchen gadgets. If anyone knew Karen, she sure loved her kitchen gadgets.

Besides her abundance of awards and acknowledgments throughout her career at Ricoh, Karen’s biggest accomplishment was her daughter Kayla. Karen sought to instill in her daughter, a zest for life, commitment to family and friends and the power of a smile. And boy did Karen have an infectious smile. 

Karen is survived by her husband, Steve Rinaldi; daughter, Kayla Ziegler; mother, father, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. 

We are having a celebration on her birthday at the Baldoria on the Water venue In Lakewood Colorado. Any and all are welcome as we want to celebrate a very special woman’s birthday and life altogether.

An additional Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at Saint Michaels Church 1016 Mystic Avenue, Cañon City Colorado 81212 on February 1, 2019, at 10:00 AM. There will be a reception held after the gravesite services at Saint Michaels Gym located next to the church.  Any and all are welcome.

We as a family ask that you spend a little more time with loved ones than ever before, phone someone for no reason other than to say I love you and toast to enduring friendships and relationships lifelong and beyond. That’s what Karen would have wanted. 

As Karen would say, “We love you to the moon and back.”
