April 11, 1935 - November 17, 2016Our beloved father and grandfather, Juventino A. Garcia was called into the loving hands of our Lord on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the age of 81. He was born on April 11, 1935 in Montemorelos, Mexico. Mr. Garcia lived in Lubbock for 40 years. He had many years of sales experience. In 1968, he started as a collector then moved to sales with Peaceful Gardens Cemetery, while working for Texas Meat Packers. In 1985, he ventured into the world of insurance. He was awarded Salesman of the Year and was a proud member of the Presidents Club with American National Life. He also received many awards and trips with various Insurance companies. In 1993, he moved to San Antonio where he established Garcia Insurance Agency. He was the first person to set up a booth at the flea market in San Antonio, selling life insurance and pre-need funeral arrangements. He worked with various funeral homes in Lubbock, San Antonio and the Rio Grand Valley. People were his life and he enjoyed meeting and making new friends. Nevertheless, he never forgot his wife, children and grandchildren, which always came first. He is reunited in Heaven with his wife of 60 years, Anita C. Garcia; parents, Guadalupe and Paula Garcia; brother, Gonzalo Garcia. Mr. Garcia is loved and will be greatly missed by his children, Jaime Garcia and wife Connie, Judy Garcia, Becky Sanchez and husband Francisco and Dalia Valdez and husband Javier; siblings, Gustavo Garcia, Josefina Villalvazo, Oscar Garcia, Ramiro Garcia, Ester Saldana, Henry Garcia and Maria Cuellar; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as numerous loving relatives and friends. Juventino's love and caring ways will remain in our hearts for all Eternity. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 1pm until 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. On Saturday, November 26, 2016 a Funeral Service will begin at 10am at the Castillo Mission Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park North.
