AVILLA — June E. Ott, 76, of Avilla died on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Presence Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. She was born on June 11, 1939, in Avilla to the late Harvey and Alma (Weimer) Ott. She was a 1957 graduate of the Avilla High School. Ms. Ott was a childcare provider for 40 years. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, reading, and tending to her flowers. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Avilla. Her family is one of the longest attending families at the church. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Ann (John) Seidel; and two brothers, Harold Ott and Larry (Deb) Ott, all of Kendallville. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, along with great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 113 W. Albion St., Avilla, with visitation one hour prior to services. The Rev. Patrick Kuhlman will officiate. Visitation will also be from 4-8 p.m. today, Friday, August 21, 2015, at Brazzell Funeral Home, Avilla Chapel, 530 N. Main St., Avilla. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Avilla.
