June Newton Adcox, 66, of Leitchfield, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.She was born on April 19, 1950, in Blowtown, the daughter of the late Claude and Eva Mae Decker Newton.She was a retired bus driver for the Grayson County, Breckinridge County, and Hardin County school systems. She was a housewife who loved to cook and garden. She loved having her home filled with family and friends. June was a member of the Dulcimer Club. She graduated from Caneyville High School in 1969. She was a faithful member of the Calvert Community Church.She is survived by her daughters, Libby Sutton (David), Edie Robbins, Jackie Pile (Jerry), Lisa Jones (Kelly); 15 grandchildren, Rachel (Chad) and Colton Sutton, Elijah and Alex Howard, Josh and Sarah Robbins, Julie (Michael), Jerry (Susan), Justin (Chelsea), Jesse Pile, Jenna (Ashton) Medley, and Christopher, Nicholas and Frankie Jones; seven great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Reagan, Gibson, Macie, Lyle, Cierra and Diana; and her sisters, Corenia Saltsman (Willie), Mary Decker (Jim), Karen Cannon (Bruce) and Sharon Poteet (Jerry).Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Adcox; a son, George Henry "JR" Montgomery Jr.; and a sister, Florenia Newton.The funeral is 11 a.m. Sunday, March 12, at the Calvert Community Church in Breckinridge County, with Brother Kennith Smiley, Brother Jerry Poteet and Brother Jerry Decker officiating.
