This obituary is administered by:
Jule E. Marks MADISON Jule E. Marks, age 55, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016. She was born on March 9, 1961, in Racine, the daughter of John Rehberg and Elaine (Legge) Rehberg of Franksville. Jule grew up in Franksville going to school there and graduating from Racine Case High School. Upon graduation, Jule attended the University of Wisconsin Madison earning a degree in Interior Design. Jule began her work career at Rowley Schlimgen (nka) Atmosphere Commercial Interiors. Jule, as those who knew her, had a rich and varied career in search of the perfect field of interest, which she found working for the past 13 years in Real Estate. Especially her last few working with Restaino and Associates where she was on their Top Producer list a couple of times. While at her first job at Rowley Schlimgen, Jule met her husband of nearly 30 years. Simply by lighting a candle, Jule ignited a life of unsurpassed happiness and love. Jule married Bill Marks on May 9, 1987. Jule and Bill have had a beautiful life together resulting in two fantastic children, Troy who is 28 living in Milwaukee and Caitlin 18, who will start her freshman year at UW Eau Claire in September. Jule had many interests and hobbies. The big two were gardening and a love for food and drink. Jule, Bill, Troy and Caitlin loved to cook together. All developing their own skills in a spectrum of different areas. Outside of the family, Jule was an active member of MESBA (Monona East Side Business Association) and the Monona East Side Optimist Club. She was active in a number of networking groups that brought her great pleasure and good friends. She is a lifetime member of Olbrich Botanical Society and the Wisconsin Alumni Association. Jule has volunteered on behalf of a number of organizations including Ronald McDonald House, Goodman Community Center, Olbrich Gardens and many more. Jules love of life is what will be lost to us all. Jule has benefitted from a huge number of friends, all of them warming from her glow. A caring, loving person with a fantastic sense of humor and her willingness to speak her mind without offending others was truly a life gift. To all of those loving friends and trusted associates, thank you for filling Jules life with happiness. Those of you who knew Jule, know that her life had many challenges on the healthcare side of things. Fighting Lupus from the age of 19 and many other illnesses along the way. She finally found a battle she could not come out the winner. Jule succumbed to a very fast moving and aggressive cancer, resulting in her death only one month after the diagnosis. Despite this she never stopped fighting and remained her kind, loving self, even at the worst of times. Jules family would like to thank the many caregivers at UW Hospital, Carbone Cancer Center, the Villa at Middleton Village and lastly Agrace HospiceCare. Also to the many physicians and nurses that have helped Jule fight her many battles over the course of her life. Jule is survived by her parents, John Jack Rehberg and Elaine Rehberg (Legge) of Lake Geneva; four siblings, Michael (Monica) Rehberg of Lake Geneva, Pat (James) Riederer of Mount Gilead, Ohio, Jane (Dennis Busch) Rehberg of Dallas, Texas, and Peggy Beauchaine of Lake Geneva.
