Cape Coral, Fla. – In the company of her family, Judy Arey Pierce, age 62, passed away on October 26, 2016 after more than a 3 year battle with ovarian cancer.Judy, daughter of the late Alan and Jean Arey, was born on June 27, 1954 and raised in Montpelier, Vt.Judy graduated from Montpelier High School and Franklin Pierce College. Her work life was in the legal and real estate fields, retiring in 2007 from the Greater Concord, N.H. Chamber of Commerce.Judy married her high school sweetheart, Erle B. Pierce in 1973 and they raised two children, Jaime Pierce Arborio (Chris) of Buxton, Maine, and Eric B. Pierce (Katie) of Fort Benning, Ga. Judy's greatest joy in her life was her children and grandchildren. Her second greatest joy was playing golf with her husband and their special golf play groups in Cape Coral and New Hampshire.She leaves her husband and two children, as well as her beloved grandchildren: Her sweet namesake Evelyn Jude Arborio; the light of her life Olivia Graham; and her loving grandsons Everett B. Pierce and Alden H. Pierce.Along with many nieces and nephews, Judy also leaves her siblings: Diana (Michael) Agusta of Leland, N.C.; Madine (Tom) Palmisano of Montpelier, Vt.; Dana (Joanne) Arey of Enfield; Dale Arey of Londonderry; and Gina (Greg) Rodgers of Austin, Texas.Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Waters Funeral Home 50 S. Main St., Concord. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish/St. John's 72 S. Main St., Concord.
