Hancock-Dahms, JudithJudith W. Hancock-Dahms, 83, of Custer, died Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at North Ridge in Stevens Point.She was born on July 9, 1933, in LaSalle, Illinois, to the late Phillip and Irene (Kaczynski) Hancock and was a graduate of P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point.Judith had worked at Hardware Mutual (Sentry Insurance) and the Blue Top for many years before retiring. She loved to pick pickles, garden, latch hook, read, bowl and watch game shows. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Survivors include her children, David (Linda) Dahms, Sandy (Jeff) Uhl, Marie (Bill) Looney, Annette (Dale) Kurszewski, Robert (Darina) Dahms, Harry (Connie) Dahms, Bruce (Renea) Dahms, Jorja (Jody) Zoromski, Jason (Heather) Dahms and Peggy (Andrew) Dean; 33 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ray (Toni) Hancock, Vic (Carol) Hancock and Howard Hancock; sisters-in-law, Marie and Gwen Hancock; and brother-in-law, Ed Pike.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Phillip and Roger; sister, Phyllis; sister-in-law, Ruthie; and grandchildren, Peter, Ryan and Brandon.Judith's family thanks the staff at North Ridge, Heartland Hospice and Pisarski Funeral Home for their care.The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street in Stevens Point. Deacon Vern Linzmeier will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
