Juanita Hurse was born on December 8, 1927, to the union of Morgan and Rachel Hurse in Jones County Georgia. 

She attended Ellis Chapel School in Haddock, Georgia and then went on to attend Eddy High school in Milledgeville, Georgia. She confessed Christ at an early age. She was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church.

Juanita was a loving and caring woman. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a warm and giving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her.

Juanita worked as a nurse aide at several convalescent homes. Juanita was united in holy matrimony to the late John William's on October 1, 1944, a love that lasted 62 years. Of this union, 3 daughters were born.

Mrs. Juanita Williams went home to be with our Lord on April 24, 2018, after a short illness. 

Juanita leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters Corinne Jones (Odel), Mrs. Johnny Pearl Morgan, and Mrs. Delores Williams all of Detroit, Michigan. Six grandchildren Pamela Scott (Deanthony), Denetrice Williams, Nicole Williams, Juanita Reynolds (Joseph), Delmicka Williams, and Valerie Williams and 15 great-grandchildren Paris, Calvin, Brandon, Jasmine, Camesha, Chante, Tiana, Bianca, Stacey, Wesley, Sidney, Jason, Nikolas, Tristan, and Denise.

Tribute to Mama

Mama took pride in her family and devoted herself to their well being. Her wise and soft-spoken voice counseled and guided us. Those who knew her often said, "Behold how she loves everybody even the unloved." Mama demonstrated unselfish, unchanging, and unconditional love. Her family and all that knew her are better because she was apart of their lives.

Mama taught us to walk by faith and not by sight and told us if we ever get lost, there is a man I know, he will be your lamp and he will send an angel to guide you to safety. Mama was a kind, fun loving person with a warm sense of humor. Mama although you are physically gone from us, you left a full house of love, sense of purpose, the wisdom of Solomon, patience of Job and the love for God.
