January 22, 2017Juan C. Sanchez, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and great, great grandfather, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the age of 92. He was born on September 17, 1924 to Victor and Amelia Sanchez in Devine, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 70 years, Ctristina F. Sanchez; and his son, Guadalupe Sanchez. He is survived by his children, Victor Sanchez (Manuela), Rogelio Sanchez (Alice), Velia S. Lopez (Jose), Rachel Sanchez, Juan Sanchez Jr (Linda), Blanca Gomez (Henry), Ofelia Levine (Joe), Daniel Sanchez (Vivian) and Jesse Sanchez (Gloria). Also left to cherish his memory are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren and extended family members. His strength was his family. He was truly loved and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 1/29/17 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home, from 3 pm until 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at Road to Damascus Church, 2101 Pinn Road, at 10 am on Monday, 1/30/2017. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
