CORREA, Joshua Pierre, “Papito”, age 32, formerly of Skokie, IL was called home Thursday, October 24, 2019. Born November 4, 1986 to Yolanda Claudio and Henry Correa. He graduated from Niles North High School of Skokie, IL in 2005 as a highly regarded athlete, and student. His accomplishments included; State Champion wrestler, Senior Varsity defensive end, track & field competitor and more.
Josh was a beloved son, father, husband, and friend. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving Wife; Jenni Correa, Sons; Joshua P. Correa Jr., Josiah J. Correa, Daughter; Sianna Marie Correa-Cunningham, Mother; Yolanda Claudio, Grandmother; Hilda Gonzalez, and Aunt; Hilda Marrero. He is further survived by Father; Henry Correa, many siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Josh truly lived life to the fullest through the simplest of pleasures; Riding with the windows down, dancing the night away, and reminiscing about good times. He was an avid animal lover, and motorcycle rider. He was deeply passionate about the people, and things he loved the most. He enjoyed time with family and made every occasion special. Josh was vibrant, and his energy radiated to everyone around him. He feared no one, always ready to face any opposition in his path. The strength he possessed will be carried on and live forever.
Josh’s presence and million-dollar smile will be missed by many. Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 12-6 pm at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home we will celebrate his wonderful spirit, joy, and talents.
