Sister Josephine Walter, 87 was born on February 22, 1932, in Hampton Arkansas, to the late Hester Mullins and Charlie Caldwell.

Sister Josephine, passed away on March 29, 2019, at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan,

Sister Josephine will be remembered for her stylish dress, her sense of humor, and her love of the Lord. She was such a joy at family gathering and was not shy about telling you what’s on her mind. 

Sister Josephine confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and united with Mt Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Hampton Arkansas and later in life joined Messiah Baptist Church in Detroit Michigan where she remained until her death.

Sister Josephine leaves to reflect on her cherished memories; one nephew Bobby (Diedre) Swinney, one niece Rejoice Mason, two great nieces Shirlisa Baker, and Martine Mason; four great nephews Leonard Baker, Jameral Mason, Bobby & Anthony Swinney; a great great niece Ashley Baker, and a host of great great nephews and nieces, along with host of cousins and friends.
