ANGOLA — Joseph C. Williams, 83, died Saturday, April 23, 2016. He was born on Aug. 20, 1932, in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Joseph C. Moulton and Elizabeth Mary (Larrabee) Williams. He married his wife of 64 years, Norma I. (Hagerman) Williams, on June 16, 1951 in Berkley, California, and she survives in Angola. He retired in 2003, after working for IBEW Local 441 as an electrician for 54 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1949-1951 during the Korean War. He was a member of the Grace Brethren Church in Mission Viejo, California. He enjoyed gardening, motorcycle riding, and the California Angels baseball games. His passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren. Joseph is survived by his wife; two sons, Joseph (Denise) Williams of Santa Ana, California, and Steven (Patricia) Williams of Kingman, Arizona; two daughters, Nancy (Mike) Ball of Angola and Laurie (Steven) Wall of Angola; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Larry Moulton, Robert Moulton and James Moulton, all of Providence, Rhode Island. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Linda Williams, one brother, Robert Williams and one sister, Madeline White. In keeping with Mr. Williams wishes, he will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West St., Angola, is in charge of arrangements.
