Renkens, Joseph "Joe" L.Joseph "Joe" L. Renkens, 66, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at his home. He was born on March 1, 1951, in Green Bay to Leo and Arlene (Berken) Renkens.Joe was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. He served in the U.S. Navy for six years, two of which were in Vietnam. His retirement rank was E-5. Joe wore many hats within the Navy, particularly within aircraft mechanics. He had several career paths including Police Officer in Houston, TX; electrician, and most recently in manufacturing. Joe's quick wit and dry sense of humor will be missed. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, literature and Jeopardy! Survivors include his two children, Colin Johnsen-Renkens, Gabrielle (Renkens) Kuhnlein and her husband, Anthony along with their five children; Anden, Lily, Grace, Ruxin and Ruby; siblings and their spouses, Leah Anne and Tom Cousineau, Therese Buss, and Kenneth and Valerie Renkens; and many nieces and nephews; all of Green Bay.He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlene "Dolly" and Leo "Red" Renkens, and special friend, Kathleen "Kathi" Johnsen.
