Joseph Justin CoghanAGE: 28 • Old BridgeJoseph Justin Coghan, 28, of Old Bridge, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 16, 2017. Joseph was born on April 22, 1989 in Perth Amboy and grew up in Carteret and Old Bridge. He was currently working in the Construction and Landscaping industries. Joseph's family described him as having a heart of gold, and was loved by all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends, with no questions asked, even if it wasn't expected of him. Joseph loved spending time with his brothers, and absolutely adored his nieces and nephews and always cherished his moments spent with them . He also enjoyed playing basketball, and was an avid NY Jets fan.Joseph is survived by his beloved mother, Debra L. Coghan of Keyport, his loving father, Thomas Michael Coghan, his dear brothers, Thomas J. Coghan and his wife, Amanda, of Carteret, Matthew Coghan and his wife, Samaria, of Old Bridge, and Timothy Coghan and his wife, Kiara, of Old Bridge, along with his cherished nieces and nephews, Thomas, Alyssa, Dylan, Saria, Matteo, Timmy Jr., Tristan, and Kirianna. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, September 22nd from 5 to 9 PM and Saturday, September 23rd from 10 to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Hwy/Rt. 35 N, Hazlet. Entombment will follow Saturday morning's visitation hours at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, Holmdel.
