Joseph Gilles was born on October 13, 1954, to Earl and Margarita Gilles in Queen of Angels Hospital (now County USC). Joseph's early childhood development was spent at St. Agatha Catholic School on Adams and La Brea. Which also was the church he attended every Sunday with his parents. From there he attended  Daniel Murphy Catholic High School and graduated in 1972. He went on to West LA College where he recieved his AA degree in 1974. Joseph worked 17 yrs for Red Arrow messenger Service until they went out of buisness, he then work at Osh Home supply company until Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) called for him in 1999 to come start training as bus operaror 29286. Once at MTA div 7 in West Hollywood Joseph was enjoying his MTA career when in 2002 he saw and met a fellow operator named Michelle Hall 28625. After numerous amounts of gogglie eyes and positive answer from ept , they were married on April 30, 2003. Dorian Gilles entered the world in Sept. 2003 even though he was due in Dec. 2003. They enjoyed years of marriage and watching their son grow thinking that they were done but nope SURPRISE in 2012 they was another positive answer from ept and Heather Gilles entered the world in January 2013. Feeling complete with a wife, son and daughter Joseph was extremely happy. On Feb. 11, 2020 God called him home to be with his mom , dad, grandma, uncle Carlos and his dog Fannie and Michelle's dog Gyzmo. Those left here on earth to cherish his memories are his wife of 17 years Michelle Gilles ,a son Dorian Gilles , a daughter Heather Gilles , mother-n-law Estelle Hall , sister & brother-n-law Denise & Darryl Christopher, Aunt Elma Dorado, sister-n-laws Rachell Hildreth , Tina Sago , Christina Avery, Nettie Wharley, Anita Meade, brother-n-laws Michael Hildreth & Kenneth Avery , cousins Carlos Dorado Jr, Maricella Dorado, Ana Dorado ,Yara Dorado.  Fernando Elias Gutierrez Alagarin (in Columbia) Including a whole host of friends and loved ones.
