Jose Antonio (Guy) Dominguez, 59, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017. Guy was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lorenza and Jose Dominguez. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Cali (Norma), Johnny (Negra), Bertha (Ken), Julie (Javier), and Jesse (Luisa), fifteen nieces and nephews, and thirteen grand nieces and nephews. He was a compassionate son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, Godfather, cousin and friend. Guy was born on July 29, 1957, in El Paso's Segundo Barrio and graduated from Bowie High School in 1975 in the top ten percent of his class and attended the University of Texas at El Paso. He was a remarkable baseball player, excelling in high school, college, and in recreational baseball leagues. He was an all-district player on the 1975 Bowie High School District Championship team and played many years with family and cherished friends for "The Pack" softball team. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Guy was known for his strong work ethic and was employed by Furr's, Allen Bradley, and recently retired from AT&T with nineteen years of service. Visitation will be Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm at Del Angel Martin Funeral Home, 3839 Montana Avenue, 79903. The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at noon at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 408 Park Street, 79901. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 4301 Alameda Avenue, 79905.
