John Robert "Bob" BrightJohn Robert "Bob" Bright, 81, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at a local care center.Bob was born on April 22, 1934 in Downey, Idaho, on the family farm, to Elmer and Mary Taylor Bright. He attended school in Downey where he graduated from Downey High school. In 1960 he moved to Zener Street in Pocatello where he resided until 2015. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was honorably discharged after 4 years of service.He married Parcia Lee Jacobson on May 31, 1957 in Pocatello, Idaho.On January 13, 1957 he began working at the Idaho Department of Transportation where he worked until 1994 when he retired after 37 years of service. Prior to this time he started Pocahy Family Credit Union. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching football and basketball, and camping with his family.He is survived by his daughters, Diana (Steve) Read, Pocatello, ID, Jodie (Tony) Parker, Afton, WY; daughter-in-law, Christine Bright, Pocatello, ID; 10 grandchildren, Steve, Lisa, Jenni, Jill, Scott, Jake, Matt, Aaron, D.J., Corbin; as well as 10 great-grandchildren, Tyrus, Alex, Mady, Miranda, Zain, Raza, Kaylyn, Leeya, Steven and Jaxyn.He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Parcia Lee Bright; son, Robert Bright; daughter, Sarah Elaine Bright; three sisters, Ilene England, Virginia Christensen, Patricia "Pat" Johnson; brother, Richard "Dick" Bright.
