John B. RajkowskiGolden Valley9/15/1955 - 8/21/2017Age 61, of Golden Valley, MN, passed away on Aug.21st after a courageous battle with cancer.  John was born on September 15, 1955 in St. Cloud, MN to Frank and Donna (Coyne) Rajkowski.  He graduated from Cathedral High School 1973 and attended St. John's University and graduated from University of Minnesota-Duluth.He is preceded in death by his father, Frank.  Survived by his loving family: wife, Jodee;  son, Luke;  daughter, Sonia;  mother, Donna, his eight siblings: Ellen; Frank (Marilyn); Mark(Jeannie); Mary Kiefer (Bob); Kathy Kampa(John); Paul (Tina); Susan Haskell; Michael (Patrice) and many nieces and nephews.  John worked for the State of Minnesota for 21 years; the past 11 years with the Dept. of Labor & Industry as the Director of Government Relations.  He was a skillful lobbyist and developed strong relations with legislators, their staff and other lobbyists.  John had a passion for all things in life; especially his relationships with family and friends. He had an enthusiasm for music, writing, golf, and a love of history. He will be truly missed.A memorial service will be held August 28th at Cremation Society of MN/Edina. 7110 France Ave. S.  952-924-4100.  Visitation will be held from 5:00PM to 7:00PM with a service to follow.  In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
