John O. Branch, 72, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas.He was born on January 12, 1940, in Cleveland to the late Eloy Branch and Fidencia Trujillo-Branch. John was a Park Ranger for 22 years for New Mexico State Parks. He really enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, making jewelry and watching wrestling. He is preceded in death by his parents: Eloy and Fidencia Branch; maternal grandfather: Pablo Trujillo. He is survived by his companion of 55 years: Eledina Pacheco of Mora; his daughters: Cristella Garcia and her husband Anthony of Denver, Colo., Agnes Padilla of Mora, Erma Jean Pacheco of Denver; grandchildren: Americk Padilla, Morella Padilla, Victoria Shockley, Katherine Roybal, Krista Garcia, Gail Manila and Jeanie Vigil all of Denver; special great-grandsons: Zaryen Griego, Asante Padilla; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters: Lucille Trujillo of Denver, Sandra Perea and her husband Eloy of Cleveland; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Rosary services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Mora with funeral services to follow with Father James Sanchez as celebrant.
