John Noble Allen Jr. was born in Cairo, Illinois, to Anna Lee Sally and his namesake

John Allen Sr. on November 3rd, 1953.

In 1972, John matriculated to The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he met Constance Aikens. The couple’s daughter Rashida Aikens was born in 1974. John remarked about his daughter Rashida, as “being made of all the best parts of him.”

John later met and married Regina Adams and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to start their life together. After one short year of marriage, John was again fighting for his life. John was seriously injured in a tragic car accident that also claimed the life of his beloved wife Regina. John would muster his fighter’s spirit once again to recover from his physical and emotional wounds. John never remarried.

John spent the remaining years of his life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he worked for the City of Milwaukee. He enjoyed reading and discussing politics. John spent his time with the people he loved, and who loved him.

John was preceded in death by his wife Regina Allen, his father John N. Allen Sr., mother Annie Raines, and brothers Darrell and Derek Allen. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Rashida Aikens (Troy), grandchildren Aubin and Troi Washington, three sisters Eva McDaniel, Audrey (Tom) Coleman, Debra (Eric) Henry, brother Kevin (Angie) Allen, Stanley Bullock, stepfather Jim Raines, stepsister Aimee Raines, stepbrother Maurice Raines, special friends Lamar "Chip" Henry and Cedric Mack. A host of relatives and friends will carry his memory with them.
