John Powell, 77, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed Friday, September 20, 2019. John was born to John Edward Powell Sr, and Gertrude Hardy Powell, July 23, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio.

John graduated from Glenville High School in 1959. He married Debra Powell in 1984, and they lived together in Cleveland. John worked at Steelworker until he retired in 1990.

John is survived by 4 children: Selena Graves (Aaron Graves), Sirina Powell, Derrick Powell (Alisa Powell), and Phillip Powell (Karen Powell). He also is survived by 12 grandchildren.
