Joe Sharp was born to the marriage union of Lucille Mae and Claude Leo Sharp, on October 1, 1950, in Pell City, Alabama.
Joe received his education in the Cleveland Public School system where he later graduated from John Adamas High School in 1968. Joe furthered his education and career in the welding industry, where he worked for Van Leer Metals for over 43 years. He later retired in 2011. Joe gave his life to the lord and joined First Missionary Baptist Church and became a faithful dedicated member. Joe loved to go fishing and have fun with his close family and friends. Even when Joe endured health issues and complications he tried attending every function and outing to spend time with his family, or just to be there with his friends.
Joe had a special appointment to meet with the Lord on early Friday morning November 3, 2017.
He leaves to mourn his lovely wife of 25 years, Hazel Sharp; 13 children including 6 sons: Joe Jr. (Charlotte), Jermaine (Donna), Dawain, Claude, Efrem, and Shawn; 7 daughters: Toni (Gregory), Kim (Doug), Connie, Valerie (James), Samura (Van), Joann and April; 3 sisters, Laura (Andrew Adams), Lois (Erick Threatt) and Susie B. Wells (Deceased); many grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
