Jessica Mae StumpDecember 17, 1984 - November 13, 2015"Earth Woman"Jessica Mae Stump "Earth Woman", age 30, of Fort Hall, Idaho, passed away following an auto accident on Friday, November 13, 2015. She was born on December 17, 1984 in Pocatello, Idaho to Calvin Jesse and Roanna (Buckskin) Stump.Jessica began school at Tyhee Elementary and then went to Hawthorne Jr High and then graduated from Highland High School. Due to her health issues, Jessica was not expected to be able to have children, however, she was blessed to have a son, Kylen Anthony Stump. She dearly loved her son and her life partner, Garrett Osborne.Jessica was more than life, always cheerful and loved to talk. She loved life. Her most happy time in her life was when her son began to sing traditional round dance songs with his uncles and the drum group, Ghost Canyon Singers. She was so proud of the boys and her son for being able to be a part of the group. She loved being around the elders. She enjoyed helping them. She was a member of the Native American Church.Jessica passed away with Garrett who was in the same accident. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Flora and Presley Buckskin and Alvin Buckskin; uncles, Gardell Buckskin and Tyson Stump; aunts, Cheryl Stump and Irenice Buckskin; great grandparents, Florence Denny Standingrock and Pat Stump, Edith Chief Goesout and Charles Writingbird; Charles and Grace Ponzo Buckskin, Nannie and Emily Miller Chedehop. Jessica was a direct descendant of Chief Taghee who signed the treaty for the Shoshone Bannock Tribe and Chief Bigbear who was the Chief of the Cree Nation.Jessica is survived by her parents, Roanna and Calvin Stump; son, Kylen; brother, Noah Fred (Joann); nephew, Cedar Stump; her other mother, JoElla Tindore; grandparents, Videl and Ruby Stump; uncles, Clifford Buckskin (Angie), Douglas Buckskin, Wayland Buckskin, Aaron Buckskin (Julie), Videl Stump Jr, Ruben Stump, Anthony Standingrock, Victor Nomee (Fray); aunts, Loreen Chavez, Vidella Corcoran, Dawn Stump, Florencine Stump (Arnold), Marva Sunchild (Darrin), Marlow Stump and many other loving family members; as well as other grandparents Delthea Smith, Aurelia Momeberg, Wilma Amboh, Denise Peshlakai, Lenora Hall (Fernando) and Kilburn Buckskin.A viewing will be held Saturday, November 14th beginning at 2:00 PM at her home on North Hawthorne Rd. Burial will be Monday, November 16th at 1:00 PM at the Gibson Cemetery. She will be buried next to her grandmother, Flora Buckskin. Arrangements are under the care of Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave., Pocatello, Idaho.
