Jeffrey Franklin Spitzer, 62, Brookville, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Pittsburgh after a long illness. In attendance were his mother Alyce Raybuck Spitzer, wife Holly Anderson of Brookville and brother Duke Spitzer and his wife Nancy Fox of Ocean City, New Jersey.He was born on March 9, 1953 in Philadelphia.Jeff is survived by a daughter, Rachel Delamar and grandson Adrien Jeffrey Delamar, sister Cheryl J. Spitzer and brother Daniel S. Spitzer.Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Franklin H. Spitzer of Philadelphia.Jeff loved fishing, gardening, photography and enjoyed bird watching. He was able to identify most Western Pennsylvania birds by their song alone. He was an antique enthusiast, valuing beautiful furniture and objects from the past. He was part owner of a Brookville antique shop. In Ocean City, New Jersey, Jeff worked for the Flanders Hotel and maintained a window and doors remodeling business on Asbury Avenue.He had a great appreciation for the small things of life and his photographs presented common elements in a way that brought out color and form often unnoticed in every day life.An informal wake will be held on Saturday, March 26 from 3-5 p.m. at Plyler's Restaurant, 234 Allegheny Boulevard, Brookville.Internment will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Philadelphia.
