Jeffrey Allen DixonAGE: 61 • Chester, NJJeffrey Allen Dixon, 61, of Chester, NJ passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017. Jeff was born on December 29, 1955 in Plainfield, NJ. He lived in Chester for the past 27 years and was previously of Middlesex, NJ. Jeff graduated Middlesex High School, and the Florida Institute of Technology. He was the CEO of Acknowledge Systems and Progressive Network Solutions and a technical consultant and project manager for MFX.Jeff was interested in electronics and science, especially robotics, computers, and computer gaming. He loved Scuba Diving, mathematics, Science Fiction, and Chess. He particularly enjoyed spending time at his second home in Vero Beach, FL, where he loved to boat, fish, and to be by the ocean. Jeff also was a proud Conservative. Jeff is survived by Nora Dixon, his wife of 27 years, son, Brian Dixon and wife Larissa (Chester), daughter, Barbara Dixon (Bound Brook), Sister, Debra Dilonardo (Toms River), brothers Randy Grizzard (Scotch Plains) and Louis Grizzard, Jr. (Spotswood), granddaughter, Kylie Rose Dixon (Chester), dearest friend, Ann Rivers (Long Valley), goddaughter, Danielle Rivers (Long Valley), and father Louis Grizzard, Sr. (Somerville). He was predeceased by his mother, Georgia Clay Grizzard. He was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Jeff's Life will include a visitation on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 10:30am funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 4 at the funeral home.
