Jeffery B. TaylorMay 12, 1956 - October 13, 2013Jeffery B. Taylor, 57, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Preston, Idaho on Sunday, October 13, 2013 after a lingering illness. He was born on May 12, 1956 in Marion, Ohio to Blaine H. and Beth Priestley Taylor. He grew up in and attended school in Preston. Jeff loved the outdoors and enjoyed being in the mountains. He enjoyed hunting with his dad as well as fishing and camping. He loved Yellowstone National Park and trips he took there. Jeff loved reading history and had a great memory for facts. He was an avid NASCAR fan and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. He was also a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his mother Beth (Robert) Mendenhall, of Preston; a sister Linda (Robert) Spackman, of Trenton, UT; and four nephews Jordan (Danielle) Spackman, of Lena, IL; Adam (Kara) Spackman, of Roy, UT; Jesse Spackman and Tyson B. Spackman, both of Smithfield, UT. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Blaine Taylor, and both sets of grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston.
