Jean Snowtala1938 - 2013Jean Snowtala, 75, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Azura Memory Care. Jean was born on Nov. 12, 1938, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Sherwood and Helene Saxe. Jean was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School. She married Ronald L. Olson in 1958, they later divorced. On April 30, 1976, she married Thomas E. Snowtala. She was employed at Kenosha National Bank for 20 years and at Ocean Spray for 20 years. She belonged to Machinist Lodge 34. Her hobbies included walking, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends. Jean loved her cat, Kitty. Survivors include her children, Mark Olson of Silver Lake, Steve Olson of Beach Park, Ill., Cynthia (Robert) Mastronardi of Kenosha, Julie (Dave Martin) Snowtala of Kenosha, Timothy (Deborah) Snowtala of Colorado; a sister, Marietta (Gary) Adelsen of Indiana; grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, and Kara Olson, Andrew, Robert II, and James Mastronardi, Nicholas and Lindsey Snowtala; five great-grandchildren; a nephew, Peter (Melissa) Adelsen of Missouri; and a niece, Katie Adelsen of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, a daughter, Linda Olson, and a brother in infancy. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 1:30-3:30 p.m. with memorial services to follow at 3:30 p.m. Private burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
