Jean Diane Cormier, 75 a long illness, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family. Jean was born on May 27, 1941 in Milford, MA. She was the daughter of the late Thomas & Florence (Hyson) Fairbrother, of Medway, MA. For 33 years, she was the loving wife of Paul Cormier formerly of Milford now residing in Brooksville, FL where the couple resided for 13 years after living in Buzzard Bay, MA. She was a graduate of the Medway High School class of 1959 and of Shepard Gill Nursing School of Massachusetts General Hospital. A life-long learner, she continued her education obtaining other credentials as well. Jeans entire life was one of giving to and taking care of others. After a career in nursing, she was the founder and for 25 years the owner of V.O.I.C.E. day care center serving a full range of socio-economic families. Even her hobbies were dedicated to others. Jean was proceeded in death by her brother, C. William Fairbrother. She is survived by her siblings; Suzanne Fairbrother, Thomas Fairbrother, Linda Matondi, Barbara Swarn Khalsa, and Carol Kakoczky. Jean will be greatly missed by her children James Chase, Debora Dunton, Brian Chase, Robin Divitorio, and Tonya Cormier. She is also survived by her two daughter-in-laws, Caroline Chase and Krista Chase, and by her 11 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service at Christ Church, School St., Medway, MA. Visitation at 9:00 am will precede a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am. Followed by her burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Medway, MA.
