Johnson, Janice R., age 47, of Birmingham, Alabama died Thursday, April 6, 2018, at the Princeton Baptist Medical Center. She was born on April 28, 1971, in Birmingham, Al. She was a daughter of the late Jesse and Lynne Johnson.

Janice had been employed as an independent baker for 22 years and wanted to open her own bakery shop. She enjoyed taking part in selling Mary Kay products, listening to country music and being with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed, but will forever remain in the hearts and souls of all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mason and Ray Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Johnson; two sons: Ronald O'Neil, Jr. and Bob O'Neil both of Alabama; one step-daughter: Dr. Kristy (Fred) Johnson-Pich of Dothan, AL; one brother: Glen (Bonnie) Johnson of alabama; five sisters: brianna Johnson of Birmingham, Al, Shirley Johnson of Birmingham Al, Doris (Larry) Johnson of Birmingham Al; four grandchildren: Travis Johnson of Memphis TN, Tierra Johnson of Memphis, TN ;Nick (Julie) Johnson of Moundsville and Meagan O'Neil of New Martinsville; one step-grandson: Ian Pich of Dothan, AL and one great grandson: Elijah O'Neil of Moundsville.

Friends will be received from 11-1p.m. and 3-5p.m. Saturday and from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the 16th street Baptist church,1530 6th ave N, Birmingham, Al 35203. Interment will follow in the 16th street baptist church Birmingham, Al. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wetzel County Relay for Life, c/o American Cancer Society.
