HUDSON — Janice Marie Allen Gaetz Luttman Norman passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, from cancer. She was born on April 20, 1937 to Ruth (Libey) and Wendell Allen. She was a dedicated teacher of 30 or more years. She is survived by her husband, Dean Norman of Hudson; her daughter, Joyce Gaetz Thomas (Ken) of Ashley, and her son, Robert Gaetz of Hudson; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Thomas of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Rebecca Thomas of Ashley; stepchildren, Sue Norman Brayton, Craig Norman, David Luttman, Matthew Luttman, Joseph Luttman, Suzanne Luttman and Laura Luttman Soboslay; and one sister-in-law, Midge Allen of North Carolina. She was also the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Marjorie Allen, Marcia Luttman and Harriet Armstrong; her brother, Donald Allen; and her second husband Don Luttman. Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, at Johnson Funeral Home, Hudson. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at the Hudson United Brethren Church, with viewing for one hour before. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the DeKalb County Hospice.
