He was born on October 24, 1962 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of the late James E. and Elizabeth Antalek.A lifetime area resident, James was also a graduate of Spackenkill High School.James loved being in the presence of his grandchildren. James liked working with his hands and was very artistic as well.James is survived by his three sons; James C. Russell and his wife Caileigh of Staatsburg, NY, Curtis J. Russell and his wife Katlyn of Poughkeepsie, NY, Timothy M. Russell and his fiance Haley of Highland, NY, his granddaughter, Sadie L. Russell, three grandsons, Joshua, Brentley and Landon Russell, two sisters, Ellen Russell and Elizabeth Ann Russell both of Poughkeepsie, NY, his brother John D. Russell and his wife Paula of Poughkeepsie, NY and his niece Victoria R. Russell.Calling hours will take place Monday, May 15, 2017 from 4-8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Funeral Services will take place May 16, 2017 at 10am at the Doyle Funeral Home.
