James "Jim" Ronald StansberryClinton, TNJames Ronald Stansberry, age 83, of Clinton, Tennessee, passed away at his home on Monday, September 11, 2017. Jim was born on September 2, 1934. He graduated from Oak Ridge High School and received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Tech. Jim honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War and retired from Lockheed Marietta Energy Systems, Y-12 facility with 30 years of service. He and his wife Linda loved hiking, camping, biking and travel.Jim is preceded in death by parents, A.K. and Bonnie Stansberry. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 35 years, Linda; children, Bill (Debra), Pamela and Dale; grandchildren, Samantha (Mark), Matthew and Eli and brothers, Jerry, Terry (Sue) and David (Marilyn).The family will welcome friends at St. Mark United Methodist Church on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:00a.m. A Memorial Service with military honors will immediately follow at 12:00p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jim's memory to St. Mark United Methodist Church, 252 North Main Street, Clinton, TN 37716.
