James Junior Chipps, 49MUNCIE - James Junior Chipps, 49, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital Emergency Room following a brief illness. He was born on October 15, 1967, in Goshen, Indiana the son of, James Oscar and Anna Mae (Burkey) Chipps.James had worked as a grounds man for the Chipps Tree Service.  He enjoyed riding horses, four wheelers and helping people.  He was well loved by many and enjoyed making people laugh.He is survived by three brothers, Richard Chipps (fiancé, Tammy Lee), Modoc, John Chipps (girlfriend, Julie Richards), Muncie and Timothy Chipps (wife, Denise Brown), Kettering, Ohio; one sister, Lisa Chipps, Redkey; nine nieces and nephews, John , Jr., Shawn Allen, Michael Colton, Sierra Nichole, Johnny, Amanda, Jennifer, Mariah, Aryana, Ariana and Bentley; several great-nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and one niece, Brittany Lee Chipps in 1984.Cremation is taking place with a private family memorial service at a later date.Online condolences may be made to the family in care of www.parsonmortuary.com
