James Jay "Triple J" JordanZANESVILLE: James Jay "Triple J" Jordan, 64, of Zanesville, passed away at 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.He was born on June 8, 1948, in Zanesville, a son of the late Raymond and Ruth Schmid Jordan. He had worked for Terrace IGA and then as a machinist for Bellows Valve Air. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Moose Lodge, VFW George Selsam Post #1058 and was a lifetime member of DAV. He served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era.Surviving are his wife, Thoma Jirles of Zanesville; a son, Jerrod Jay (Heidi) Jordan of South Zanesville; and two grandchildren, Keyli and Amber.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Mahon; and a brother, John Jeffrey Jordan.Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013 in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Mark Matzke officiating. James will be laid to rest next to his first wife in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. VFW George Selsam Post #1058 will hold full military rites at the graveside.
