James Ronald Glover-Wilson was born February 4, 1951, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Ruth Lee Glover and Hardy Wilson, whom both precede him in death.
James was baptized at the age of six at Holiness Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. James relocated in Los Angeles, California in the 60's where he attended Manual Arts High School. He would go on to meet many people and build some solid relationships.
In 1971, James was blessed with his first son, Tramel Wilson, who he was very proud of and thirty five years later he was blessed with twin sons, James & Jesse Wilson, whom he also loved dearly. James also had four grandchildren, who he loved to be around and who would all call him "Pops." He would engage in conversation with his grandkids and throw in a little street knowledge; as well as, motivate them to be all they could be in this life. He would always attend every family event he was invited to.
James admired all aspects of cars and he had a love for dogs. He also enjoyed hanging out with his partners at the donut shop. If you had a chance to get to know him on a personal level you would've experienced his humorous side. He took pleasure in telling his life stories.
James was preceed in death by two of his siblings, Willie Smith and Rurlia J. Smith.
James will truly be missed and always remembered. He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Tramel Wilson, Jesse & James Wilson; eleven siblings, Ida Singleton, Vanessa Wilson, Slade Wilson, Sherry Wilson, Runa Wilson, Victor Wilson, Geneva Kyles, Nathaniel Smith, Royce Smith, Mary Gale Smith and Glover Smith. He also leaves to mourn his absence a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
